Choose your paper
There are three CITB Health, Safety and Environment papers. Operatives and Specialists follow the GT100 syllabus. Managers and Professionals follow GT200. Pick the paper that matches the site card you are working toward.
What you get
Everything you need to revise for the site-access exams you will sit, from a first guest session through to full mocks and explanations.
How it works
Three steps from a first practice question to booking with a clear idea of your score. Works on any device, so you can study at home or on a break.

Match practice to your site card
Six colours cover the usual site-card routes. Green, Red, Blue and most Gold paths sit a GT100 paper. Black and White paths sit MAP (GT200). Colours are a guide only, not official scheme advice.

Topics from the official syllabuses
Practice is grouped the way CITB publishes the papers, not as a mixed revision list. Drill a weak area, then sit a full mock for your paper.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to start?
No. Topic practice and your first full mock run in guest mode. Create an account only if you want to save progress or unlock every mock and explanation.
Which paper do I need?
Labourer and most skilled routes sit Operatives (GT100). Supervisory and many trade routes sit Specialists (GT100 plus a trade chapter). Manager and White academically or professionally qualified (AQP and PQP) routes sit MAP (GT200). Card colour is a guide only. Check the official scheme card finder if you are unsure.
What does the paper look like?
Operatives, Specialists, and MAP papers are all 50 questions in 45 minutes, with a 90% pass mark (45 out of 50), sat at a Pearson VUE centre. Some questions need more than one answer. Timed mocks follow that shape.
What is GT100 and GT200?
GT100 is the official Operatives and Specialists syllabus: 16 core knowledge areas, plus 12 specialist trade chapters. GT200 is the Managers and Professionals syllabus: five sections, updated in June 2023. Trade Study practice is aligned to those published structures. We do not copy official exam questions.
Can I sit the real paper at home?
No. The official exam is sat at a Pearson VUE centre, not from home. Trade Study is practice only. Book the real paper through the official CITB booking route.
How should I practise?
Drill weak topics, then sit a full timed mock for your paper. Many people feel ready after a few weeks of about 30 minutes a day. Book when you pass mocks consistently.
Does it work on my device?
Yes. Trade Study works on any device so you can study on a phone, tablet, or computer.
